Electricity is really just organised lightning…

Safety first!

Are you looking for a reliable partner to have your electrical installations inspected? Look no further. ACEG provides all types of electrical inspections with a team of experienced experts.

Domestic
installations

Your domestic electrical installation is inspected to ensure your safety and protect your home. In our country, an electrical inspection is also required by law when a new installation is commissioned and when an existing installation is expanded or adapted. An inspection is also required for a temporary installation, such as a distributor cabinet on a construction site. Finally, you must also have a valid inspection certificate if you wish to sell your home.

Non-domestic
installations

We talk about a non-domestic installation if it is located in, for example, industrial buildings, warehouses, restaurants or shops. In addition, when a private home also contains a space for professional activities, such as a physiotherapy practice, the installation counts as non-domestic. Whereas the inspection of a domestic installation must be carried out every 25 years, that of a non-domestic installation must be carried out every five years.

Medically used spaces

Defects in electrical installations in medically used spaces can have serious consequences for patients and staff. For example, a conformity check is required for all new electrical installations and for any significant modification or extension of an existing installation. In any case, a periodic inspection every three years applies to electrical installations in medically used spaces.

Hoogspannings
installations

In electrical high voltage installations, the voltage is higher than 1,000 V AC and 1,500 V DC. In most cases, this concerns high-voltage cabins. However, there are also large industrial applications powered by high voltage. It is therefore important that these installations are regularly inspected to ensure safe operation. In addition, some insurance companies offer a discount on the premium if you can submit an inspection or certificate.

Charging points

When installing a charging station or charging point, it is mandatory to have an electrical inspection carried out. Just as with the installation of, for example, an additional power circuit for solar panels, the extension of the electrical installation with a power circuit for a charging station or charging point is subject to mandatory inspection. The charging station must also be approved for the application for subsidies.

Solar panels

In any case, approval is mandatory when new solar panels are commissioned and existing solar panels are expanded or adapted. For existing installations, a mandatory periodic inspection applies every 25 years. We also strongly recommend having your solar panels regularly inspected. It is a small investment to guarantee your own safety, that of your home or your business.

Thermographic inspections

Thermography is a measurement method for the remote mapping of the temperature of an object or area. This method is used, among other things, in fire protection, industry or in the medical world. In recent years, thermography has been used increasingly in the search for economical energy use solutions. Thanks to this method, overload or poor contact can also be detected in good time. ACEG specialises in architectural thermography and thermography on electrical panels. This makes it easy to see whether your home or business premises are losing energy unnecessarily and also prevents any economic or human damage.

I’m very satisfied with the services provided. ACEG not only helped me to get an appointment quickly, but the inspector who visited was also very helpful. Our installation was completely safe. The inspector himself took enough time to explain a few things to us so that we now know how to proceed safely if we have to hang a lamp. From A to Z a 10/10. You can count on this company!
